About Us

Nova Speech Pathology Restoration is a longtime dream come to life. Our founder, Dana Zemke, has a passion for communication and rehabilitation, and is driven to increase access to the speech pathology services.

Dana’s pediatric experience ranges from working in schools, hospitals, private settings, and she even spent 5 years in Beijing, China as a speech-language pathologist providing much needed care to children across nationalities.

Additionally, Dana has had the privilege of providing services for the adult population through her extensive experience in home health, hospice, hospitals, skilled nursing and private practice.

During her healthcare provider journey, Dana served most recently as a Senior Vice President of Growth and Development for a national hospice organization. Through this role she had a first-hand glimpse into the shortage of healthcare services nationwide. This fueled her clinical and entrepreneurial spirit to be a part of the solution, and gave her insight into the inner workings of the healthcare system. Through this lens, Dana was able to launch her own practice, blending her clinical expertise with her business acumen.

Dana completed her Masters of Science in speech-language pathology, graduating with a 4.0 GPA, reflecting her commitment to excellence and passion for helping others. She holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP), a nationally recognized credential that signifies advanced knowledge, experience, and skill in her field. This certification allows her to provide the highest standard of care, offering evidence-based and compassionate therapy to her patients. As a mom to a lively 5-year-old, Dana brings a personal understanding of the joys and challenges families face in supporting language and communication growth.

Dana is passionate about creating an ecosystem for accessible care and empowerment for therapy services. Her goal is to expand Nova Restoration Therapy Group to be the premiere healthcare solution where exceptional care is the norm, not a privilege.
